Parmelee, SD — Native Nations Rebuilders Program (cohort 7) - Viola has been a freelance journalist since 2001. She graduated with a master’s in mass communication from South Dakota State University. She is a regular contributor to local news sources and to her own blog. Viola is currently a member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe’s Tribal Employment and Contracting Rights Office Commission.
