Tom S. Schreier, Jr.

Tom Schreier currently serves as the Founding Director of the Inspired Leadership Initiative at the University of Notre Dame. This is a distinctive full-year program designed to allow accomplished individuals who have completed their traditional careers to discover, discern and design their next act.

Prior to his role at Notre Dame, Tom held senior leadership roles in the financial services and transportation industries, most recently co-leading Nuveen Investments before selling it to TIAA in 2015.

Currently, Tom serves as Director and Committee Chair at Allina Health, is the Lead Independent Director of Piper, Sandler Companies in addition to other community activities.

Tom’s education includes a B.A. in Economics and German from the University of Notre Dame and an M.B.A from Harvard University.
