Matt is the controller for the Bush Foundation. He provides leadership for finance processes, systems and internal controls, as well as budgeting, employee benefits, and cash management of the investment portfolio, all in support of Bush’s organizational purpose. He is part of the finance team.

Matt joined Bush in 2024. He has extensive experience working in philanthropy and the nonprofit sector, having served as controller for the Northwest Area Foundation and working with many of Minnesota’s largest foundations during his time in public accounting.
