Kristina Ward

Kristina is a program operations officer for the Bush Foundation. She designs and leads operations that support the Bush Fellowship program.

As part of the program operations team and in close partnership with the grantmaking team, Kallie provides strategic leadership and support for grantmaking operations at Bush. Specific to the Bush Fellowship program, she ensures that grantmaking practices are equitable and that applicants and reviewers are supported along the way.

Kristina joined Bush in 2012 and had an earlier role managing the leadership programs. Her experience includes work for the U.S. Senate office in Washington, D.C., where she advocated for communities in North Dakota. She loves working with programs that help to support extraordinary leaders make large scale changes in our region.

Kristina likes to keep things fresh through home renovation projects, exploring new state parks with her family and dog, or just enjoying a backyard barbeque.
