Kimberly David

Talent, learning & evaluation coordinator

What energizes me most about my work and role is fostering an effective and equitable organizational culture. I love that my work is rooted in relationship-building, and I’m an advocate for the arts, believing that creativity is central to creating and framing change.

I believe that we call on many pieces of our identities when we enter a space and that complexity helps enhance our ability to impact the work we do and the people we work with.

Kim is the talent, learning & evaluation coordinator for the Bush Foundation. She leads the operational and administrative work for Bush’s talent, human resources and professional development activities so that staff can be productive, satisfied and effective in their roles.

Kim plays a key role in developing and maintaining an effective organizational culture with a focus on equity and goal of having the greatest impact possible. She provides support for hiring and selection, performance management, onboarding and professional development and learning. She also manages day-to-day operations for the team.

Kim joined Bush in 2023. Her experience includes serving as the finance and operations manager at East Side Freedom Library, where she created and formalized various structures and processes with the intention of sustaining and supporting staff and organizational growth.

Kim enjoys finding new places to eat, learning new crafting skills and spending time with her friends and family. Her guilty pleasures are mugs, water bottles and stationery.
