Kallie O’Hara
Program operations officer
Kallie is a program operations officer for the Bush Foundation. She designs and leads operations that support the Community Innovation grants and program-related investments (PRI) program.
As part of the program operations team and in close partnership with the grantmaking team, Kallie provides strategic leadership and support for grantmaking operations at Bush. Specific to the Community Innovation program, she ensures that grantmaking practices are equitable and that applicants, grantees and partners are supported along the way.
Kallie joined Bush in 2016 and had an earlier role as the Community Innovation program coordinator. Her experience includes work in nonprofits and higher education, where has led project management, operations and event planning work. She loves having a job where she can think about how process can help achieve equitable access to philanthropy, rather than be a barrier to it.
Kallie spends her time with her family, and she tries to get outdoors as much as she can to enjoy nature.
