Justin Christy
Learning and evaluation manager
Justin is a learning and evaluation manager for the Bush Foundation. He provides leadership that builds and reinforces a deep organizational commitment to learning and evaluation so that Bush can have the greatest impact of the investments it makes.
Justin works across all Bush program areas to provide strategic reviews, measure program impact and provide expertise for staff on data sources and evaluation practices. He also provides project management, helps Community Innovation grantees with technical assistance and support, and leads the cross-foundation evaluation team.
Justin joined Bush in 2010 and served as a grantmaking officer, developing and supporting a variety of Community Innovation grants and strategic initiatives that focused on education, community creativity and other issues.
Justin has held multiple roles at the University of Minnesota, where he was able to use the arts and creativity to foster connections across differences.
Justin loves going on new travel adventures with his family and enjoys hiking, cooking, reading, fixing stuff and tinkering on his bass guitar.

- Board chair, Minnesota Jazz Education, where he co-created a youth education program that explores the connections between jazz, hip-hop and other music genres
