Jackie Statum Allen
Grantmaking director
Jackie is a grantmaking director for the Bush Foundation. She provides strategic and day-to-day leadership for key grant programs and supervises the grantmaking officers. Specifically, she leads the Ecosystem grants program and provides collaborative leadership for the community trust funds and student-centered education efforts.
As part of the grantmaking team, Jackie helps find and select the highest potential ideas from communities throughout the region that can lead to high-impact investments for Bush. She is active in community conversations to understand the impact of Bush’s support and serves as a member of Bush’s management team.
Jackie joined Bush in 2018. She has held a variety of roles through the years and spent more than a decade working in public school district administration. At the Office of Strategic Planning, Policy and Grants Development for Saint Paul Public Schools in Minnesota, she led several high-impact projects, including developing and implementing multiple district strategic plans, developing inclusive policies and managing informational campaigns for referendum ballot issues.
Jackie’s other experiences include working in operations and budget management with Chicago Public Schools, brand marketing and manufacturing engineering.
Jackie is originally from St. Louis, Missouri, and has since made the Twin Cities her longtime home with her husband and two young daughters.
