Carol Peterfeso
Managing director of investments
Carol is the managing director of investments for the Bush Foundation. She provides strategic and day-to-day leadership for the investment and asset allocation strategies that support Bush’s organizational purpose.
Carol helps ensure that Bush can meet its financial and strategic goals in the near and long terms. With the investments team, she provides portfolio oversight and investment manager due diligence, selection and monitoring. She serves as a member of Bush’s management team.
Carol joined Bush in 2022. She has extensive experience in her field having served as founder and managing partner of Dolomite Capital Partners, a consulting firm specializing in providing investment management services to institutional investors, and as chief treasury and investment officer at the University of St. Thomas where she was responsible for investing the university’s operating cash and endowment and managing its long-term debt. She also served as assistant treasurer at the university and got her start at Norwest Bank Minneapolis (currently Wells Fargo).
Carol is a life-long resident of the Twin Cities and lives in Woodbury with her husband. She has 3 children and 2 grandchildren and stays active by playing pickleball, hiking and traveling.
