Partners Hamline University and Mounds View Public Schools (MVPS) will create an alternative teacher education pathway based on the 'grow your own' model. MVPS high school students of color interested in teaching will participate in an accelerated teacher education program at Hamline, return to MVPS for a teaching residency, and continue working in the district as teachers.
