Jail Re-Entry Program Return on Taxpayer Investment Model (Local Government Innovation Awards Finalist)
The purpose of this program investment is to provide funding for the Dakota County Re-entry Assistance Program (RAP) in order to demonstrate that investment in prevention services can create better outcomes and measurable savings. The underlying goal of RAP is to reduce jail recidivism, additional convictions and new charges for Dakota County residents.
