Nii Quaye is the Managing Director of Vermilion Group, M.A. Mortenson Companies, Inc., approach to long term impact investment. Vermilion makes control investments in high performing privately held businesses and seeks to grow both financial and impact performance outcomes. M. A. Mortenson Companies, Inc., is a privately-held company headquartered in Minneapolis, MN., operates one of the largest contractors in the United States, and is involved in a variety of businesses from renewable energy to sports stadiums, from hospitals to data centers.
Nii joined Vermilion in 2020 after serving in a variety of executive roles with increasing responsibility at Pentair, ADC Telecommunications, Cargill, and Boston Scientific. Nii’s experience includes leading the Corporate Development function at Pentair and ADC managing all aspects of strategy and M&A activity.
Outside of the office, he is an active community member, serving as an executive committee member of the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Managements Dean's Board of Advisors, as a member of Minnesota Public Radio's Board of Trustees, and as a member of the Glen Nelson Center’s Advisory Board.
