Twin Cities Rebuild for the Future Fund
George Floyd’s murder and the community unrest that followed affected our region and world. We’re inspired by the many community-led efforts to respond and rebuild. We are glad to be an initial contributor to the Twin Cities Rebuild for the Future Fund.

George Floyd’s murder and the community unrest that followed have affected the Twin Cities, the region, and the world. We are inspired by the multiple community-led efforts to respond and rebuild. We are glad to be an initial contributor to the “Twin Cities Rebuild for the Future Fund” which will distribute funding quickly to community-led efforts to support micro- and minority-owned small businesses.
Greater Twin Cities United Way, the Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation and The Minneapolis Foundation established the fund with pooled investments exceeding $1 million. The fund will cover repairs, equipment, technology, building materials, relocation expenses and more. Funding will be distributed in late June to multiple community-led business support initiatives and business-focused nonprofits after an invitation-only process.
