Please join us in celebrating Maggie Arzdorf-Schubbe as she transitions from her role at the Bush Foundation at the end of March. Maggie has been a trusted consultant to the Foundation for over 30 years and will truly be missed.
Maggie is known and respected for her relationships with countless nonprofits and community leaders across our region. She first connected with the Bush Foundation as a Bush Leadership Fellow in 1988 and started working alongside the Foundation as a consultant in the early 90s. During her tenure, Maggie has been instrumental in facilitating more than 400 grants, totaling over $65 million. She has been a relentless advocate for nonprofits involved in a range of issues including violence prevention, child welfare, youth homelessness and advocacy, restorative justice, especially those serving rural and Native communities.
As Jen Ford Reedy, Bush Foundation president, puts it: “Maggie has been a strong partner to the Bush Foundation for decades. She has been a champion for communities throughout the region and helped us find and support a lot of wonderful work. We will miss her energy, knowledge, experience, and passion. We will also miss her laughter, road trip stories, dancing skills and amazing Halloween costumes!”
