Celebrating Maggie Arzdorf-Schubbe
Please join us in celebrating Maggie Arzdorf-Schubbe as she retires from her role at the Bush Foundation at the end of March. Maggie has been a trusted partner and consultant to the Foundation for 31 years and will truly be missed.
Maggie is known and respected for her relationships with countless nonprofits and community leaders across our region. She connected with the Bush Foundation as a Leadership Fellow in 1988 and started working with the Foundation in 1991. During her tenure, Maggie has been instrumental in giving out more than 400 grants, totaling over $65 million. She has been a relentless advocate for nonprofits involved in violence prevention, child welfare, youth homelessness and advocacy, restorative justice, and for those serving rural communities.
Jen Food Reedy, Bush Foundation president, shared that “Maggie has been a strong partner to the Bush Foundation and a fearless supporter for many of the communities that we serve. Her energy, knowledge and experience, and care for community will be genuinely missed. We wish Maggie the best in whatever comes next for her!”
We will also miss her laughter, road trip stories, dancing skills and amazing Halloween costumes. Maggie, thank you for your many years of service!
