June Noronha, Native Nations team senior manager, received a Life Membership to the NAFSA: Association of International Educators during its 67th Annual Conference & Expo.
According to NAFSA, Life Membership is awarded to recognize career achievements in advancing the goals of the Association and of international education and exchange. Individuals become eligible for nomination at the time of their retirement from professional responsibilities in the field of international education.
Noronha has spent decades advocating for educational equity, intercultural learning and human rights issues. Before joining the Foundation, she held leadership positions in higher education, including associate dean for multicultural education at The College of St. Catherine.
