They provide several capacity-building opportunities and mobilize the power of philanthropy through advocacy and by organizing pooled funding efforts. Ecosystem grants provide general operating support for organizations that support others to solve problems in their communities.
A process to equip Minnesota philanthropic organizations with a framework, strategies and new relationships designed to strengthen Minnesota by promoting urban/rural interdependence and reducing urban/rural divide.

Supporting Minnesota Council on Foundations to strengthen the philanthropic sector through an adult learning program aimed at current and future foundation staff and trustees. This program will support the development of a vibrant philanthropic sector with rich and engaging opportunities for people to learn from the past, generate new ideas, test creative designs, engage in mentoring and peer learning, set action goals, and implement promising strategies.
