Kallie is a Program Operations Officer for the Community Innovation Program. She designs and leads the program’s grantmaking processes in partnership with grantmaking officers and directors. At every step of our processes, she works to ensure simple, supportive and equitable experiences for our applicants, grantees and partners. She loves having a job where she can think about how process can help achieve equitable access to philanthropy, rather than be a barrier to it. Before this role, Kallie was the Community Innovation Program Coordinator. She joined the Bush Foundation in 2016.
Kallie’s previous experience includes project management, operations and event planning in both nonprofit and higher education settings. She holds a master's degree in Strategic Communication and a bachelor's degree in Political Science from The University of Minnesota. In her free time, Kallie loves being in nature and spending time with her family.
