Buffalo’s Fire is an independent digital news site dedicated to providing community-focused journalism that informs, engages, and uplifts stories from rural tribal communities across the Great Plains. Supported by the Indigenous Media Freedom Alliance, Buffalo’s Fire works to fill critical news gaps in American Indian communities, ensuring access to accurate, relevant and timely information. Through a media partnership, we are able to reach more people throughout our grantmaking region to share opportunities and resources that help them in their work.
