Sioux Falls, SD — Creative thinking is the seed of innovation, driving economies and improving quality of life. Creativity has been defined as an essential 21st-century skill, and yet there is little to no understanding regarding how to teach or foster this skill. Our schools and communities need leadership to help increase the understanding and importance of creativity and creative problem-solving. My fellowship will focus on integrating creative thinking in all aspects of life—from school curriculum to community activities—in an effort to cultivate innovation and create positive change.
