Eagle Butte, SD — Native Nations Rebuilders Program (cohort 5) - Marcella comes from of the Oohenumpa and Ihanktowan Bands of the Lakota and Dakota Nation. She is currently working as a community development extension associate for South Dakota State University. Marcella assists Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe citizens in the areas of sustainable living and economic development. She has received her undergraduate degree in community health education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and a master’s degree in nutrition from South Dakota State University.
