Minneapolis, MN — As an instructor at Minneapolis Community and Technical College, I see in my diverse students the potential for leadership even in the face of glaring economic and educational disparities. I will build my skill set to develop concrete ways for higher educational institutions to build effective, reciprocal and lasting partnerships with community organizations and governments so they can support these students as they develop into leaders who are equipped with the knowledge, skills and experience needed to tackle the challenges faced by low-income and communities of color in the Twin Cities.
