Be a more effective leader

Skya Ducheneaux

We know that change only happens when people make it happen. It’s why we invest in all types of leaders to think bigger and differently for their community.

This section is chock full of opportunities for problem solvers in our grantmaking region. You might be an entrepreneur, an artist or a culture bearer, a community organizer, a nonprofit or business leader, or work in the public sector.

However you are creating change in your community, you’ll find information about the Bush Fellowship—which we operate—as well as a number of other opportunities that we fund.

For programs where we denote a program partner, please contact that partner for information about applying and more.

Partner-operated programs

We are a major funder of several community-based programs for individuals that are operated by other organizations with the relationships and experiences to serve their communities well.

We do not have any role in the selection of participants or management of these programs, even for those that were established by Bush. For any of these programs, please contact the operating partner directly with questions. Opportunities are listed in alphabetical order.
