Arlene Jones has owned and operated The Farm on St. Mathias in Brainerd, MN since 2006. Developing the farm into the region’s premiere destination farm, she is also the cofounder of Sprout, a regional food hub located in Little Falls, MN. Utilizing the principles of creative placemaking and value chain ideologies, the marketplace is an active hub where food, culture, art and agriculture blend into a culturally relative destination. She frequently speaks on the economics of local foods value chains, serves on multiple boards, and is a Bush Fellow.
