Saint Paul, MN — Ampers is an association of 18 independent grassroots hyperlocal radio stations that primarily serve underserved communities, including BIPOC and rural communities, with 14 of the 18 stations serving communities in greater Minnesota. Four of the stations are licensed to and serve Native American communities. KMOJ is the only radio station in Minnesota whose sole mission is to serve communities of color. Collectively, Ampers provides programming in 11 different languages including Hmong, Somali, Oromo, Ojibwe, Spanish, and more. Through a media sponsorship, we are able to reach people throughout Minnesota to make them aware of our program offerings and resources throughout the year.
