Amanda Rios Heintz
Grants administrator
Amanda is a grants administrator for the Bush Foundation. She manages the grantmaking lifecycle—from application to due diligence to approval to payments to reporting—for Bush programs.
As part of the program operations team and in close partnership with the grantmaking team, Amanda provides leadership and support for grantmaking operations at Bush. She ensures that grantmaking practices are compliant and equitable and that applicants and grantees are supported along the way. She also makes sure that grantmaking data is accurate and up to date.
Amanda joined Bush in 2022. Her experience includes serving as the grants administrator at Fiduciary Counselling, a family office where she administered grants to several family foundations and charitable trusts to help fulfill their philanthropic goals. She also managed database and grant records.
She lives in Cottage Grove, Minnesota, with her husband, 2 children and 2 dogs, Tucker and Arlo. They love to cook and bake together.
