Kia has over seven years combined experience in program coordination, event and project planning and administrative support. In her former position, she was the Operations Manager for a healthcare consulting company located in Northern California. Prior to that position, she was a Program Coordinator for an educational, citizenship-based non-profit organization. In addition, Kia also performed some independent contract work in program/training development and program support. Her well-rounded experiences and ability to “wear many hats” help her in her role as Leadership Development Team Coordinator with the Bush Foundation.
Kia graduated from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, where she received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Human Resources Development & Family Social Science. She and her husband have three girls and one boy.
